Snorkel UK Displays Upgraded Electric Snorkel Boom At Executive Hire Show 2019

Snorkel UK Displays Upgraded Electric Snorkel Boom at Executive Hire Show 2019

Snorkel UK, the official distributor for Snorkel™ aerial work platforms and RUTHMANN BLUELUFT tracked spider lifts in the U.K. and Ireland, is showcasing five products at the annual Executive Hire Show which opens today.

On its 50sqm booth space at the front of Hall 1 in the Ricoh Arena, Snorkel UK is displaying five Snorkel lifts, including the S3010P push-around mini scissor lift; the S3010E self-propelled mini scissor lift; the S3219E electric slab scissor lift; and a narrow rough terrain scissor lift, the Snorkel S2755RT.

Combining ultra-compact dimensions, such as its 1.45m width, and an overall low weight of just 2,750kg, the Snorkel S2755RT is ideal for working on rough terrain in either confined spaces, or on jobsites with restricted access, and can be towed on a trailer by a car or commercial vehicle between jobs.  Delivering a working height of up to 10.4m, and a platform capacity of 300kg, the S2755RT is also available with a bi-energy power source option for indoor/outdoor applications.

Additionally, Snorkel UK is showcasing an upgraded version of the Snorkel A38E electric articulated boom lift which is now in full production at Snorkel’s UK manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear.  The product upgrades to the A38E include the replacement of the folding aluminium platform ladder with a more robust fixed steel ladder; a new upper steel control box that is more in keeping with the rest of the Snorkel lift family; and the relocation of the lower control panel from the ballast to a new separate steel enclosure which provides greater protection from the risk of water egress.

The class-leading Snorkel A38E delivers an excellent height-to-weight ratio, with a maximum working height of up to 13.5m and safe working load of up to 215kg, while weighing just 3,880kg.  Boasting direct DC drive, the A38E delivers long duty cycles, and it is capable of travelling up to 10 miles (16km)* on a single charge.

Snorkel UK will also be running special finance promotions at the show, highlighting the weekly profit opportunities for hire companies on popular Snorkel lifts, when utilizing the competitive financing programs available at the show.

Andrew Fishburn, Divisional Managing Director for Snorkel UK, said, “The Executive Hire Show remains one of the most important annual events on our calendar, and we look forward to showcasing our products and capabilities to our valued customers and contacts within the UK hire sector.  I am also excited to bring our special financing programs to the show, highlighting the genuine and affordable ROI opportunities for hire companies through the addition of aerial work platforms to their fleets.”

Snorkel UK can be found at Stand B44 in Hall 1 at the Executive Hire Show 2019 at the Ricoh Arena, on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7thFebruary 2019.  For more information on Snorkel UK, please visit www.snorkellifts.co.uk.
