Las Vegas, NV (23 January 2018) Leading aerial work platform manufacturer, Snorkel, will have a large presence at the annual Rental Rally trade show organized by the California Rental Association this week.
Recognized as a Silver Sponsor of the trade show, Snorkel will display 10 models from its range on a 2,000 sq. ft. island booth in the middle of the show hall at South Point Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada, including three brand new models.
Snorkel is debuting a new telehandler at the show, the Snorkel SR5719. Capable of lifting up to 5,732 lbs., with a maximum lift height of 19 ft. and a maximum forward reach of 10 ft. 4 in., this competitive telehandler is an ideal fit for the independent rental operator. This compact unit features a Tier 4 Final Yanmar engine, and weighs just 10,360 lbs.
Alongside the new Snorkel telehandler, the brand new Snorkel S3215L lightweight electric scissor lift is making its debut at the show. Designed to deliver the same heavy duty durability of a construction-tough electric slab scissor lift, the S3215L has been strategically designed to deliver a much lower overall weight and floor loading than a conventional scissor lift. This has been achieved by using lighter weight materials, such as aluminum, where possible without compromising the stability and durability of the lift. With a maximum working height of 15 ft., this lift weighs just 2,100 lbs. and has a floor loading of just 195 psf at maximum capacity, which is 670 lbs.
Visitors to the CRA Rental Rally will also see the new Snorkel TM16E, which is the larger version of the Snorkel TM12E launched at The Rental Show in 2017. The Snorkel TM12E is an electric drive version of the original TM12 self-propelled telescopic mast lift, that now incorporates a zero inside turning radius and a roll-out deck extension as standard. The Snorkel TM16E takes the TM12 concept to new heights, capable of reaching a maximum working height of up to 22 ft., with a platform capacity of 500 lbs., whilst retaining the same compact dimensions of the TM12.
Snorkel will also display its custom delivery truck bed system, known as the Snorkel EZ-Loader. Available in three sizes, the innovative truck bed features a ramp that can be deployed in just 17 seconds, for efficient delivery or collection of rental equipment. This is particularly important where deliveries take place on a road or in a confined area, where the delivery truck may be delaying other traffic. Other benefits of the truck bed include a knife-edge ramp for easier loading of large pieces of equipment, a longer ramp providing a lesser incline for electric equipment, such as scissor lifts, and dock loading ability.
A Snorkel E-Z Loader E-Z 18 will be shown on the booth at CRA Rental Rally, with a bed capacity of 18,000 lbs., a 10,000 lbs. dove tail capacity and a 5,000 lbs. tow capacity. Alongside the EZ-Loader, Snorkel will be showing rental-popular models from its range, including three of its new line of electric scissor lift family, the S3219E, S3226E and S4732E.
