Las Vegas, NV (24 January 2016) Global aerial work platform manufacturer, Snorkel, will be doubling their CRA Rental Rally 2015 booth space to a 30’ x 40’ island in the center of the 2016 show hall, in order to showcase the new S3219E, S3226E & S4732E electric slab scissor lifts. These scissor lifts were originally previewed at CRA Rental Rally 2015, before their global launch at The Rental Show 2015. These models are now in full production and Snorkel recently announced that they are expanding the range with two additional models – the S3215E & S3220E. These additions to the Snorkel’s family of electric scissor lifts will be officially launched at Bauma 2016.
Other equipment on display will include the Snorkel A46JRT articulated boom lift, A38E electric articulated boom lift, MB26J mast boom lift, TM12 telescopic mast lift and S3010P push-around scissor lift.

The Snorkel S3010P push-around mini scissor lift will be featured on the Snorkel booth. Designed for low-level construction and facilities maintenance applications, the S3010P is an innovative push-around mini scissor lift, which provides a cost-effective way to safely work at low level heights indoors. Snorkel Leads in Safety Innovations
Founded in 1958, Snorkel has been at the forefront of many work at height innovations which have helped to improve jobsite safety and efficiency. Snorkel’s latest innovation is Snorkel Guard™ secondary guarding system which is now fitted as standard on all new build Snorkel booms above 40-feet (12.1m).
Designed in-house by Snorkel’s engineering team, the simple, mechanical system features a spring-loaded rail that sits above the upper control panel which cuts out machine operations when compressed, for example, in the case of the operator being involuntarily pushed against the controls.
In the event of Snorkel Guard being activated, if able, the operator can override the system using a switch in the platform. Additionally, when Snorkel Guard is activated, the lift can be operated from the lower control panel.
Snorkel Guard has undergone extensive field-testing and has already received high praise from a major global contractor, who favors the simplicity of Snorkel’s design over other more complex systems on the market. Since 1st September 2015, all new-build Snorkel boom lifts with platform heights of 40-feet (12.1m)have been fitted with Snorkel Guard as standard. In addition, Snorkel Guard can be easily retrofitted to most Snorkel booms in the field. Available globally, the retrofit kit can be ordered via Snorkel Customer Services or official Snorkel distributors.
Visitors to the CRA Rental Rally 2016 will be able to see Snorkel Guard fitted to the Snorkel A46JRT articulated boom lift on the Snorkel booth.
