HAYDOCK, UK (May 13, 2015) – Snorkel is launching the CE version of its new family of electric slab scissor lifts at Vertikal Days today.
The global manufacturer of aerial work platforms is officially unveiling its brand-new electric slab scissor lift design for the first time outside of the US, following its launch at The Rental Show in New Orleans in February.
The new family includes four models, ranging from the S3219E which delivers a working height of 5.79m from a 0.81m wide chassis, to the S4732E which delivers a working height of 11.75m from a 1.19m wide chassis. The new scissor lifts have been designed with a focus on the rental industry and include a number of innovative features that help lower total ownership costs. Both the S3219E & S4732E models are on display on Snorkel’s stand at the show, and all models are now available to order.
Snorkel is also showcasing a number of its most popular lifts at the show, including the TM12 telescopic mast lift with roll-out extension deck, the A38E electric articulated boom lift, the A46JRT rough terrain articulated boom lift and the TL49J trailer-mounted boom lift. In addition, the award-winning Snorkel A62JRT rough terrain articulated boom lift will be available for demonstrations throughout the show, located in a dedicated ‘demo’ zone.
Thanks to increasing demand for Snorkel lifts, the Snorkel UK division recently expanded its sales and service team, and is continuing to recruit for additional sales representatives and after sales support engineers. Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to meet the new Snorkel UK team members, including Jim Martyr, Philip Lawson, Simon Eyre and Ray Rawling. Recently appointed Snorkel CEO, Matthew Elvin, will also be present on the stand to meet with UK customers during the two-day event.
To celebrate the recent expansion, Snorkel UK will be running a number of ‘jaw-dropping’ exclusive show specials at Vertikal Days on Snorkel lifts and genuine Snorkel spare parts. They will also be offering visitors an opportunity to sign up for the Snorkel UK 2015 Roadshow which will be taking place in the first two weeks of June, giving rental companies an opportunity to test out the new Snorkel electric scissor lift family at their facility.
