Las Vegas, Nevada (March 7, 2017) – Snorkel is expanding its range with the introduction of the first Snorkel telehandler at ConExpo 2017.
The Snorkel SR5519 can lift a load capacity of up to 5,500 lbs. (2,494kg) and can reach heights of up to 19-ft. (5.79m). Although designed to be competitive, the SR5519 is still rich on features, including a new, more spacious cab with an improved seat for operator comfort. A large touchscreen interface has been incorporated into the cab for easy access to load charts and operation manuals.
Designed to Handle Rough Terrain
Powered by a 74hp Deutz 2.9 litre diesel engine, with hydrostatic drive, the SR5519 has front limited slip differential as standard to improve traction on rough terrain jobsites. Compact dimensions makes this model ideal for using in tight spaces, particularly on construction jobsites or in rental applications.
The SR5519 has been engineered to weigh just 10,400 lbs. unloaded, permitting it to be used in worksites with low floor loadings, such as parking garages. The lift is equipped with a 48-in. standard carriage.
Availability
The SR5519 is the first model in a new family of Snorkel telehandlers, designed from the ground up at Snorkel’s global headquarters in Henderson, Nevada. The SR5519 will be available to order in North America in Quarter 4, 2017.
