Washington, Tyne & Wear, U.K. (25th July 2016) Irish rental company, Dromad Hire, has invested in two new Snorkel A38E boom lifts, in a deal closed at Vertikal Days 2016.
Founded in 1988, Dromad Hire is a fully Irish owned family operated plant and tool hire business, that is based in Dundalk in the Republic of Ireland. They have recently expanded into specialized powered access hire, and in 2014 were the first hire company in Ireland to be awarded ‘Safe Hire’ status, a standard that continues to be retained.
The Snorkel A38E is an electric articulated boom lift that delivers 13.5m working height, and up to 5.9m of horizontal reach, and is fitted with non-marking tyres as standard. It has an ultra-tight turning radius, is less than 1.5m wide, and has a 90° hydraulically powered platform rotate for easier platform positioning at height. Weighing just 3,770kg, the A38E is ideal for working indoors on floors where ground pressure is limited.

Snorkel UK is the direct sales and service operation for Snorkel lifts in the UK and Ireland. The order from Dromad Hire was placed with Snorkel UK during Vertikal Days 2016, and will be supported by the Snorkel UK team.
