Shanghai, China (22nd November 2016) Snorkel, a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms, will display a selection of its most popular electric lifts at Bauma China 2016.
On the 90sqm stand in the Outdoor Area, Snorkel will showcase the largest model in its new electric scissor lift family, the S4732E with a 11.8m (38 ft.) working height, with sister model, the 7.79m (25 ft.) working height Snorkel S3219E on display on the neighbouring IPAF stand.
Alongside the S4732E, Snorkel will be displaying the TM12, a self-propelled telescopic mast lift. Capable of lifting two people indoors to a working height of 5.6m (17 ft. 11 in.), this lift can be driven through standard doorways and carried in passenger elevators. Recently enhanced with hydraulic powered descent and a 0.5m (20 in.) roll-out deck extension as standard, the TM12 continues to set the standard in low-level aerial work platforms.
Also on display, the Snorkel UL40 is a robust push-around telescopic mast lift that can safely lift one person plus tools to a working height of 14.1m (46 ft.). The lift can be easily pushed into position, and can pass through standard doorways thanks to its innovative tilt-back system. The patented ‘Girder Lock’ telescopic mast design provides a very stable platform, even at full elevation.
Representing boom lifts, Snorkel will display the A38E and A46JE models. These electric articulated boom lifts are fitted with non-marking tyres for internal use, and boast compact dimensions including zero tailswing. The Snorkel A38E weighs just 3,770kg (9,140 lbs.) and can lift two people plus tools to a working height of 13.5m (43 ft. 7 in.). The Snorkel A46JE can lift two people with tools to a working height of 16.0m (52 ft. 3 in.), and is fitted with Snorkel Guard™ secondary guarding as standard.
Snorkel supports customers in China from their 3,000sqm (32,290sq. ft.) facility in Jintan, Jiangsu, where they hold a strategic stock of new machines and spare parts. The facility, which opened earlier this year, also boasts a large workshop and office space. In addition, Snorkel has a strong network of independent distributors across China and Asia, who also hold machine and spare parts stock, ensuring fast availability to customers.
