Washington, Tyne & Wear, U.K. (1st March 2016) Snorkel is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Fishburn as Divisional Managing Director of its Snorkel UK operation, with immediate effect.
Based at Snorkel’s manufacturing facility in Washington, Tyne & Wear, Andrew will be responsible for leading Snorkel UK, the direct sales and service division which supports customers across the United Kingdom & Ireland.
Andrew has significant AWP industry experience, and a proven track record in sales, rental and business development. Andrew has previously worked with JLG, and most recently has been providing sales training and consultancy services.
Under the new structure, Mark Yarnold moves to the position of Sales Director, where he will continue to focus on added value sales for the business.
These appointments are expected to further strengthen the Snorkel team in a key territory, and will act as a catalyst to the next phase of the company’s development.

Snorkel UK was created in 2010, to provide dedicated sales and product support to Snorkel customers in the UK and Ireland. Under Mark Yarnold’s direction, the division tripled its team in 2015 and added a fleet of mobile parts and service vehicles to enhance regional support and improve response times to customers.
