Amsterdam, Netherlands (2nd May, 2017) – Snorkel, a leading global manufacturer of aerial work platforms, is showcasing ten products, including two new models at APEX 2017, the dedicated tri-annual trade show for the aerial work platform industry in EMEA, which opens today in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Alongside popular core products, including three of Snorkel’s latest family of electric slab scissor lifts, three examples from its selection of push-around and self-propelled low level aerial lifts, and two electric articulating boom lifts, Snorkel is also introducing material lifts and a model from its family of narrow compact rough terrain scissor lifts.
Snorkel Expands Product Line With Material Lifts
Snorkel is expanding its product line with the addition of six material lifts. Split into two product families, the Snorkel material lifts range include three ‘MLC’ models designed for heavy-duty, construction applications, as well as three ‘MLM’ models featuring a shorter mast height and a more compact design. Robust and reliable, Snorkel material lifts are built to handle the demands of the rental industry.
Delivering best-in-class load capacities, all six material lifts feature a dual-handle, shift-on-the-fly, two-speed winch for increased productivity when lifting loads, up to twice as fast as other material lifts on the market.
New Narrow Models Expand Snorkel’s Compact Rough Terrain Scissor Lift Family
Snorkel is expanding its current family of compact rough terrain scissor lifts, with two new narrow models, which are ideal for working in confined spaces with rough terrain or uneven ground conditions. The Snorkel S2255RT, which will make its European debut at the show, delivers a maximum working height of 8.5m (27-ft. 3-in.) and a lift capacity of 420kg (925 lbs.) from a chassis that is just 1.45m (4-ft. 9-in.) wide. In the same narrow width, Snorkel also now offers the S2755RT, a larger version with a maximum working height of 10.4m (33-ft. 6-in.) and a lift capacity of 300kg (661 lbs.).
