Weyerbusch, Germany (8th September 2017) Officially launched at Platformers’ Days 2015, Ahern Deutschland will be celebrating its second anniversary at the upcoming Platformers’ Days exhibition on September 8-9, 2017.
Showcasing 12 Snorkel aerial work platforms, Ahern Deutschland will be running a number of exclusive Platformers’ Days promotions to show attendees, including free customer color paint on orders of two or more Snorkel lifts placed at the show.
Along with the birthday festivities, the Snorkel ML18C material lift and the Snorkel S2255BE rough terrain scissor lift will both be making their official debut in the German market.
The Snorkel ML18C is part of the new Snorkel family of material lifts, which includes a total of six models. Designed for heavy-duty, construction applications, this machine is a high specification material lift featuring a dual handle, shift-on-the-fly, two-speed winch for improved productivity.
In 2006, Snorkel introduced the narrow width S2255RT and S2755RT machines to the New Zealand market in an effort to meet local demand for a narrow width machine that could be easily transported by contractors using a tandem trailer. Offering a maximum working height of 8.5m, the Snorkel S2255RT has a lift capacity of 420kg from a chassis that is 1.45m wide. The S2755RT offers a maximum working height of 10.4m, and can lift up to 300kg. Capable of climbing gradients of up to 35% and designed to be towed by light commercial vehicles, the Snorkel S2255RT weighs just 2,360kg, while the S2755RT weighs 2,580kg.
Earlier this year, these narrow scissor lifts were introduced in Europe. At Platformers’ Days, Ahern Deutschland will show the bi-energy S2255BE that can switch between diesel power for outdoor work and electric power for indoor work. Weighing in at 2,660kg, the S2255BE also comes equipped with high grip, non-marking tires as standard, and shares all other features with the diesel-powered S2255RT.
The Ahern Deutschland stand will include a “low level access” zone to showcase Snorkel low-level products that are available for working at heights of up to five meters. Ahern Deutschland will be displaying two mini scissor lifts, including the Snorkel S3010E and S3010P, as well as the Snorkel TM12, a self-propelled telescopic mast lift.
Snorkel’s mini scissor lifts offer an alternative to traditional low-level solutions, such as ladders, scaffolding towers, and podiums, delivering many additional productivity and safety benefits. The self-propelled Snorkel S3010E has compact dimensions and a zero inside turning radius, making it ideal for working in tight spaces, and is light enough to be carried in elevators.
On the 225sqm open-air stand at Platformers’ Days, Ahern Deutschland will display the Snorkel A38E and A46JRT articulated boom lifts, along with the Snorkel S3219E, S3226E, and S4732E electric slab scissor lifts. Also on display will be the Snorkel S3370BE compact scissor lift, the Snorkel SL30SL speed level lift, and the Snorkel UL25 push-around mast lift.
