Washington, Tyne & Wear, U.K. (31st January 2016) Access Link, the UK association of independent regional rental companies held its quarterly meeting at Snorkel’s Washington manufacturing facility in the UK on Wednesday, January 13th.
Despite wintry travel conditions, the meeting was well-attended by Access Link, with almost all member companies represented. Hosted by Snorkel UK, the day began with a presentation by Snorkel UK’s General Manager, Mark Yarnold, and Snorkel’s Regional Sales Manager for Europe, Enrique Garcia Delgado. They presented Snorkel’s new electric slab scissor family, which was originally introduced at The Rental Show 2015, and has recently been expanded with the introduction of two higher capacity models, the S3215E & S3220E.
Tyre company, Q Wheels, gave a presentation on their re-treading solution for solid slab wheels, which was followed by a lively Access Link quarterly meeting, and a tour of the Snorkel manufacturing facility.
Keith John, Access Link Chairman, said, “Snorkel has been reborn, they have redesigned their machinery, streamlined their production & are offering excellent customer service & finance options. Well done to all involved – you’ve done an excellent job”.
Mark Yarnold, General Manager of Snorkel UK, added, “We are honored to be given the opportunity to host Access Link at our facility, and were very pleased with how many of the members were able to make the journey to the North East of England to see how Snorkel is evolving.”
Several Access Link members placed orders on the day, which ended with a highly competitive ten-pin bowling event in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
